Purpose and Scope
At Platypus Dental Group, we define "local" as both the immediate community within our clinic's geographic vicinity and our broader regional network of independent healthcare partners and suppliers.
We fulfill this commitment by providing accessible, high-quality oral healthcare services within our community and actively prioritizing partnerships with local, independent businesses for our clinical and operational supply chain.
Accountability & Community Transparency
To ensure accountability, we adhere to the following strict operational thresholds:
- Client & Patient Impact: We commit to serving at least 75% local and independent clients or patients within our primary operating region.
- Local Procurement: We commit to purchasing core products representing at least 50% of our non-labor expenses from independent suppliers local to where the products are used or where our company operates.
Sustainable Growth & Community Integration
As we scale our practice, our growth strategy is fundamentally tied to deepening local interaction. We intend to expand our dental services while intentionally increasing our engagement with underserved local demographics and fostering long-term relationships with independent regional partners.
