At Platypus Dental, we understand that life can be busy and plans sometimes change. To ensure we can provide timely care to all our patients, we kindly ask for your cooperation with the following policy.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we respectfully request at least 24 hours’ notice. This allows us to offer the appointment time to another patient who may be waiting for care.
Appointments cancelled within 24 hours, or appointments that are missed without notice, will be recorded as a Failure To Attend (FTA).
We completely understand that unexpected circumstances can arise. If there are exceptional situations, please speak with our team.
If a patient has two (2) or more FTAs recorded, a $50 non-refundable deposit will be required to secure future appointments.
Our goal is not to penalise anyone, but to reduce appointment delays and ensure all patients have fair access to care.
Thank you for your understanding and support in helping us run on time and care for our community 💙
If you have any questions, please contact our friendly team — we’re always happy to help.
